Support for parents/carers of neurodivergent children
*Diagnosis is not needed

1-1 Coaching & Mentoring Sessions

(1 hour)

Accessing support can be extremely beneficial for parents of neurodivergent children.  Depending on individual circumstances, you may decide to access support for yourselves, instead of for your child, or in addition to.

All behaviour is a form of communication.  Understanding is key to helping your child.  These sessions will provide you with a framework within which to do this; helping you to understand the 'why' for different behaviours, by starting to view things through a neuro-affirming lens.

Along with my professional experience of working with many neurodivergent children, I also know what it feels like experiencing those exhausting days as a parent of neurodivergent children too.   I am a safe space for you; a space for you to show up as your true self and share your thoughts and feelings, without any judgement.   We all have our own beliefs, opinions and stories.  Personalised sessions mean that, together, we can look at individual circumstances and work through the best way to support you, your child and the whole family (you are all in it together.)

Sessions will take place online, via Google Meet, so you can feel relaxed taking part in the sessions from the comfort of your own home.  If you are local (North Leeds), and you would prefer to meet for a coffee and a chat, or a walk and talk instead, this may be an option (please mention preference for this when getting in touch.)   â€‹
