Support for neurodivergent children and young people

1-1 Coaching & Mentoring Sessions
(45 minutes)

I believe that the earlier children learn to embrace themselves as they are, then the more confident and empowered they will feel and the brighter they will shine.
Building up a good relationship and creating a safe, positive and engaging space, will be at the forefront of these sessions. It is a space for their voices to be heard and listened to. As an experienced teacher, a neurodivergent individual and mother of neurodivergent children, I will approach these sessions in an adaptable and neuro-affirming way, meeting the child or young person where they are at and being guided by their interests.

Together, we will explore how their unique brain works, the challenges that they face and celebrate their strengths; allowing the child or young person to build self-esteem and confidence, and develop skills and strategies to work with their brain and self advocate.

Sessions will take place online via Google Meet. It can be helpful for parents to sit in on these sessions as well. If you are local (North Leeds), and would prefer for sessions to take place in person at your house, then we may be able to arrange this (please mention preference for this on the getting in touch form.)
